Job Title:Speech Language Pathologist SupervisorPay Range:$70.00Job Description:26/27 SY | Up to $70/HR | Part-Time | Escondido, CA | Supervisor for School-Based CFs & SLPAs | Retirees Encouraged to ApplyAbout the Role:Pacific Coast Speech Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor to provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance to school-based Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). This is a supervisory and consultative position; supervisors will not maintain a student caseload or provide direct therapy.The SLP Supervisor will support CFs and SLPAs in developing their clinical skills, navigating school-based processes, maintaining compliance, and delivering high-quality speech and language services. This position includes a combination of on-campus direct supervision and off-campus indirect supervision, with flexible scheduling.Why Join Us:Earn up to $70/hourPart-time, flexible scheduleStudent Loan Assistance for Clinical FellowsEarn up to $10K in bonuses!Up to 12 FREE CEUs per yearLicense and CEU reimbursementsFull BenefitsSupport and mentor the next generation of SLPsWork in a collaborative, growth-focused environmentOpportunity to utilize your expertise without maintaining a direct student caseloadRetirees and experienced SLPs encouraged to applySpeech-Language Pathologist Supervisor Key Responsibilities:Direct Supervision – On Campus | Approximately 8 hours/monthProvide in-person clinical supervision and mentorship to school-based CFs and SLPAs.Observe clinical practices and provide constructive feedback and guidance.Support supervisees with appropriate clinical decision-making and evidence-based practices.Provide instruction and guidance related to:Clinical practicesData collectionReport writingIEP processes and documentationService delivery and professional responsibilitiesAttend or provide guidance regarding IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration as appropriate.Monitor progress toward CF and/or SLPA supervision requirements.Indirect Supervision – Off Campus | Approximately 4–15 hours/monthReview and provide feedback on assessments, reports, and clinical documentation completed by supervisees.Assist with setting up and managing appropriate therapy schedules.Provide instruction and guidance on:SEISMedi-Cal billingIEP goals, including reviewing and editing goalsReferral, screening, and dismissal processesDetermining eligibilityDetermining when students may exit speech servicesService levels and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)Guide supervisees in navigating parent and teacher communication.Provide consultation regarding unique or uncommon communication disorders, including:Cleft palateStutteringVoice disordersMaintain required ASHA documentation, including CF performance reviews and supervision records.Answer questions regarding SLP roles, responsibilities, scope of practice, and school-based procedures.Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development to support supervisees' growth and success.Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback to promote clinical competency and confidence.Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and DisordersCurrent and unrestricted SLP license in CaliforniaASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferredExperience supervising Clinical Fellows and/or SLPAs preferredStrong knowledge of special education, IEP processes, and school-based speech and language servicesStrong understanding of ASHA supervision requirements and documentationExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDOJ/FBI Livescan background clearanceMust be eligible to work in the United StatesSpeech-Language Pathologist Supervisor Physical Demands:Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes while working on school campuses.Activity: Ability to perform essential job functions involving reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.About Pacific Coast Speech Services – Point Quest Group:At Pacific Coast Speech Services, we specialize in helping new graduate Clinical Fellows thrive.
