This is a growing company part of a larger corporation that offers tremendous opportunity and high visibility to senior leadership.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer are:Lead projects focused on manufacturing readiness and production supportDrive process and design improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughputReview technical data packages and engineering requirements prior to productionCreate, update, and maintain CAD models and engineering drawingsManage and update engineering documentation and design recordsReverse engineer components and assemblies where requiredCollaborate with production teams and external manufacturers to resolve issuesSupport fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and assembly operationsConduct engineering analyses, including repeatability and reproducible studiesTroubleshoot production challenges and implement practical solutionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
