Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in the CVOR for scheduled surgical cases
- Prepare patients, assist with positioning, monitor vitals, and support instrumentation and anesthesia; maintain a sterile field
- Assist the surgical team with instrumentation, specimen handling, surgical counts, and equipment setup
- Monitor patient safety, infection control, and intraoperative changes; communicate clearly with the team
- Document perioperative care and ensure accurate handoff to the recovery area
- Float to clinically appropriate units as needed within scope of practice and licensure

Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to float to clinically appropriate units as needed within scope and licensure
- Availability for day shift with call as required
