Vascular Sonographer Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Sonographer to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will use advanced ultrasound equipment to perform non-invasive diagnostic imaging of the vascular system, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment planning for various vascular conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients by providing accurate and timely results to the medical team.

Vascular Sonographer Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams of the vascular system, including arteries and veins.
• Assess and document vascular conditions, including aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and peripheral artery disease (PAD).
• Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
• Review patient history and previous imaging results to provide comprehensive diagnostic support.
• Analyze images, identify vascular abnormalities, and collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation of imaging results.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and calibrated.
• Follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.

Vascular Sonographer Qualifications:

• Certification as a Vascular Sonographer (RVT or RVT/ARDMS) required.
• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Sonography program preferred.
• Previous experience in vascular sonography is preferred.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and non-invasive diagnostic techniques.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic images.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and under pressure.
