PACU RN Inpatient (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks
Minimum: 2 years RN experience Required: Level I trauma and telemetry experience Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS EMR: Cerner
Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Monitor patient vitals and recovery post-anesthesia. Administer medications and manage patient pain. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and effective recovery. Document patient care activities in electronic health records.
Orientation: 24 hours Drug screen: within 30 days of start Flu vaccine: required (medical/religious exemptions only) Scrub color: Black
