This opportunity lets you inspect products, verify quality standards, and help ensure every finished product meets customer expectations before it leaves the facility.Job DutiesInspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished fasteners for dimensional accuracy and visual defectsUse micrometers, calipers, thread plug and ring gages, optical comparators, and other precision tools to verify tolerancesInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specificationsDocument inspection results in Excel and generate quality reports in WordMaintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actionsCollaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issuesEnsure all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintainedSupport internal audits and assist in continuous improvement initiativesEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferredExperience Requirements2+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the fastener or precision manufacturing industryExperience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specificationsAbility to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documentsKnowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devicesStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accuratelyCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems is a plusPhysical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shiftAbility to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when requiredAbility to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracyAbility to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environmentsBenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mindOptional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the futureQuality-Focused Work Environment committed to safety, precision, and continuous improvementAbout UsAt Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
