Oncology Acute Nurse

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Oncology Acute Nurse, you will help a unique patient population—including medical-surgical, oncology, and telemetry patients—by coordinating, supervising, and implementing evidence‑based care so they can receive safe, specialized treatment and achieve the highest level of recovery and patient satisfaction. Every day you will work on our dynamic 32‑bed unit, managing a busy caseload of 4 to 6 patients per shift. You will be expected to utilize cross‑training opportunities across medical, surgical, oncology, and monitored telemetry beds, executing precise clinical interventions with a high sense of urgency. To be successful in this role, you must possess a passionate patient‑first mindset, bring keen assessment and critical‑thinking skills to a fast‑paced environment, and thrive in a setting where you will rarely experience the same day twice. Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging We are offering $10K in relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
