Description Location: UCHealth Yampa Valley Med Center, Steamboat Springs, CO Department: YVMC Respiratory FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or CPR for Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; card must remain valid for sixty days of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire. PALS Certification within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities Provides advanced respiratory therapy in a patient care environment using respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care. Partners with multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. Preceptors those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Practices in a technologically complex clinical setting, managing ventilator integration to adaptive pulmonary support and airway management across multiple levels of care.
