TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 to 26 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required License: Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Strong Cardiac Stepdown experience Description: Strong Cardiac Stepdown nurse needed. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIH certification is also required. A medication and arrhythmia exam is required. Patient ratios are 4:1. Daily census is approximately 20 adults and geriatrics. Unit has 22 beds. The team includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, and medical telemetry overflow. Floating to other units may be required due to census concerns. Only qualified staff will float to units for which competencies have been documented. Modules are required to be completed pre-start and are recorded in transcripts. Travelers must have 1 year of minimum experience with EPIC EMR. Two pre-approved time off days are allowed during the contract. A clinical assessment is required for all nursing staff. Staff are encouraged to report any issues as soon as possible.
