Summary

Department : Computerized Tomography

Shift timings : 19:00- 07:00 Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

Per Week : 36 Hours

Nights Wed. - Fri. 20:00 - 06:00 & Sat. 18:00 - 06:00

• Call 1 to 2 days per week
• Holiday Rotation- none
• EPIC, DR Pacs, Powescribe

Roles & Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
• Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of three years of current CT Tech experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
• Active unencumbered Radiology Tech/CT Tech Oregon state license
• One year of Cerner experience
• ARRT Certification

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
