Advanced Recycling Technologies Driver PositionAdvanced Recycling Technologies (ART) specializes in the recovery of small, hard-to-capture non-ferrous metals from two primary waste streams: automobile shredder residue (ASR) and Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility ash. With decades of proven industry experience, ART delivers innovative, and environmentally responsible solutions to extract valuable metal units from materials that have already passed through conventional recovery systems. This role may require loading, unloading, and coordination with equipment operators.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a dump truck safely to move materials from one facility to another as well as within the yard.Load, transport, and unload materials as directedPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsFollow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesMaintain communication with supervisors and yard personnelKeep work areas clean and organizedReport mechanical issues or safety concerns immediatelyRequirementsQualificationsMust hold a commercial Class A driver's license.Must have a clean driver's record.Prior experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment.DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkSubject to random drug/alcohol testingWorking ConditionsWork is performed in an outdoor industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.Ability to sit, climb, and operate equipment for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.PLEASE NOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
