Overview Indiana University Health Arnett Physicians has an employment opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist at IU Health Arnett Hospital in the community of Lafayette, Indiana. The opportunity will allow you to help build full service behavioral health services to an under-served regional patient population. The Lafayette community has established behavioral health services with ample opportunities for collaboration and additional resources. Position Highlights Position Highlights: Provides quality Outpatient Psychiatric services, includes coordination of care for the behavioral health service line, future clinical oversight for NPs and collaboration with other Behavioral Health team members. Potential to create/structure IOP/PHP services as the department grows Performs psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patient population – patient population mostly with PTSD, MDD, GAD, ADHD, BPAD, ASD, some psychosis – comorbid but not primary addiction services Provides diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation and management, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, and overall care of our patients with psychiatric disorders Collaborates with other providers & services within the system to coordinate care This position is supported by MA and RN to allow you to provide the best possible clinical care Qualifications Qualifications: Residency training in Psychiatry Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana Lafayette, Indiana Lafayette, Indiana offers an unmatched quality of life in a safe and thriving college community.
