Concur Business Systems Analyst

Under the direction of the Business Systems Manager 1, the Concur Business Systems Analyst provides high-level operational support for Business and Financial Services (BFS). This role focuses on the continuous optimization of business processes and the resolution of complex system issues through ongoing analysis of user needs and system performance. The position serves as the primary lead for the long-term maintenance and enhancement of UCSB's SAP Concur Travel and Expense Management System. A critical component of this role is maintaining and monitoring the integrations between Concur and Oracle Financials Cloud to ensure seamless data flow and financial accuracy. The analyst documents evolving business processes, proposes system improvements, and manages the lifecycle of system changes—from writing functional design documents to executing test scripts. Furthermore, this position ensures business continuity and develops sophisticated reporting tools for campus stakeholders while serving as the primary backup for the Jaggaer/PTP/TaxLead.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training 1-3 years Experience analyzing moderately complex business processes and problems. 1-3 years Experience developing user reference materials and trainings. Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years Experience developing solutions involving the use of computer systems, information flow and architecture. 1-3 years Experience creating specifications for systems to meet requirements. 1-3 years Experience validating requirements against needs. 1-3 years Experience designing details of automated systems. 1-3 years Experience planning and executing unit integration and acceptance testing.
