Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Rep (Indianapolis, IN) Job Overview Field Service Representative responsible for managing DME programs and providing patient care in orthopedic settings. Make business decisions, maintain inventory, and collaborate with sales and clinics to improve performance. Job Title Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Rep (Indianapolis, IN) Reports To Field Service Team Lead Location Indianapolis, IN Key Responsibilities Provides account management, manages day‑to‑day service operations for DME programs, and provides instruction for appropriate use and application of products. Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre‑authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility. Performs routine evaluation of customer clinic needs and works with Sales and Field Service Teams to make modifications to improve DME inventory program performance. Travels within designated territory, monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels using inventory valuation methods, tracking orders, and investigating problems. Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team. Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures, and HIPAA. Minimum Basic Qualifications Passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Demonstrated patient care experience. Experience dealing with multiple physicians in a high‑volume clinic. Demonstrated experience with the application of soft goods/functional bracing. Previous experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs. Must satisfy third‑party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter‑orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related. Desired Qualifications Experience with and knowledge of insurance reimbursement/DME billing requirements. Work Environment & Physical Demands Provides patient care in physician’s offices, hospitals, and/or clinics. May involve exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens. May need to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Travel requirements: may be required to travel 10–90% of the time; overnight travel not required. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
