Schedule

This position involves working night shifts on weekends in a cluster schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday) from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medsurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various nursing specialties, including Neuro, Orthopedic, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology. This resource pool position requires flexibility and resilience, as you will be working across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Medsurg and Stepdown units.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is preferred.
• Epic experience is essential, with a well-rounded understanding of nursing responsibilities in various units.
• Must have previous travel nursing experience of at least one year, with a two-year gap from prior assignments in the same facility.
