Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of surgical procedures and will contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Assure the operating room is equipped and sterile before procedures.
• Assist the surgical team during operations as needed.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and post-operative progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a surgical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with surgical procedures including but not limited to ophthalmology, orthopedic, gynecological, and general surgery.
• Preferred: Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR).
