Job Duties for Quality Control Inspector Position:

• Plan and coordinate quality control activities, inspection methods, and procedures
• Set up gauges and adapt inspection equipment and fixtures as needed
• Perform part layouts, process audits, supplier inspections, and first-piece or 100% inspections of materials, parts, and products
• Report nonconformities to manufacturing leads and supervisors
• Perform statistical process control as required
• Follow all policies, guidelines, and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Quality Control Inspector Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred
• Comfortable using computer systems, with Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Experience using calipers, height gauges, and other measuring devices preferred
• Good communication and math skills desired
• Ability to learn company products, customer needs, and industry requirements
• Follow quality, environmental, safety, and company policies
• Work full-time in a production plant with regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
