Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are First Nations, and good is what we do! Now hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support our Cass Lake branch in the Walker area.

Position duties include:

• Visiting clients in their homes and helping them maintain their independence. There really is no place like home! You'll be helping families in your community stay in their homes.
• Providing direct support to individuals this includes supporting the client in individualized goals, including personal care tasks such as helping client get in and out of bed, assisting with bathing/showering, and making sure their home is clean and safe.
• Building relationships with individuals and reporting any concerns to the Designated Coordinator.
• Supporting community engagement by attending community events, etc.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants need reliable transportation and are comfortable visiting clients in their home. Willing to provide transportation if necessary, must hold a valid driver's license and current insurance.
