Requisition ID 10909 -Posted - Field - Individual Contributor - 0% - 24% At White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC, as an Underground Telecom Foreman, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines. Construction warehouse is located in Anson, ME. What you’ll do Install underground fiber-optic, copper, and telecommunications cables. Operate trenching, boring, and excavation equipment. Locate and identify existing underground utilities before excavation. Pull, splice, and terminate telecom cables. Inspect underground ducts, conduits, manholes, and handholes. Perform maintenance and repairs on damaged cable networks. Read and interpret engineering drawings, maps, and cable route plans. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of telecom systems. Follow safety regulations and utility protection procedures. Complete installation and maintenance documentation. Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What you’ll need Knowledge of fiber-optic and telecommunications systems. Ability to use cable locating and testing equipment. Understanding of underground utility standards and regulations. Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic computer skills for reporting and network documentation. To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company A valid driver’s license Previous Foreman experience preferred Physical abilities & exposures Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse Why grow your career with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
