Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes and evaluations to assess mental health and psychosocial conditions.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions tailored to individual clients’ needs.
\n
• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify patients requiring mental health services and making appropriate referrals to specialty providers when necessary.

• Developing treatment goals and plans in accordance with established Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.

• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses.
\n
• Implementing relapse prevention strategies and helping clients achieve stable functioning in their daily lives.

• Ensuring thorough documentation of client interactions and maintaining accurate clinical records.
\n
• Staying informed of community resources to assist clients in overcoming barriers to mental health care.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients about their conditions and self-management strategies.
\n
• Consulting with clinic management and colleagues to enhance service delivery and program evaluation.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this vital role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Connecticut.

• Proficiency in English; bi-lingual capabilities (English-Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
