Job Responsibilities

- Execute detailed patient evaluations, performing physical assessments and comprehensive investigations of medical records.

- Aid in identifying and diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting relevant imaging tests and laboratory findings.

- Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans.

- Provide critical support in the operating room, ensuring sterile conditions and proper patient placement while deftly managing surgical instruments.

- Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which encompasses administering medications, conducting wound care, formulating discharge plans, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

- A Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program.

- Experience in surgical clinical rotations is strongly preferred.

Certifications

- Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.

- Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.

- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
