Customer Experience Specialist
Location: Brecksville, OH (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay: $25-29/hour


About the Role
As a Customer Experience Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle. You will work across customer service, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and sales to ensure orders are processed accurately, issues are resolved quickly, and customers receive a high level of service.
Success in this role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other designated channels in a timely and professional manner.
• Resolve customer issues and escalations by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.
• Partner with Account Managers on customer meetings and provide operational insights that support long-term customer success.
• Collect and communicate customer feedback to improve service levels and inventory planning.

• Process customer orders accurately and manage the order fulfillment process from entry through delivery.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or potential issues.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve order-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and documentation requirements.

• Monitor key performance metrics including order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.
• Recommend improvements to processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in cross-functional training to broaden business knowledge and capabilities.

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, customer support, sales support, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office. (SAP preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule with four days onsite each week.
• Standard business hours with occasional overtime based on business needs.
