Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Chattanooga, Tennessee location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role requires phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience, with a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
• Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
• Process billing and collect payments; prepare specimens for testing
• Provide exceptional customer service and travel to additional sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomist experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
