Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

NY - STONY BROOK ActionLink is seeking a Part‑Time Retail Merchandiser to work in Stony Brook, NY and the surrounding area. Responsibilities Visit assigned retail stores to complete merchandising projects. Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays. Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel. Work up to 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm; no weekend or evening work. Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each store visit. Qualifications Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience preferred. Capable of handling all levels of merchandising work within an assigned territory. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams. Work independently and collaborate with a small team when needed. Tech‑ready: Internet access and basic hand‑held tools, plus a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update (desktop or laptop access is a plus). Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel; vehicle use required for job duties. Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Compensation & Benefits General merchandising projects compensated at $20.00 per hour. Higher rates for additional technical projects, based on need. W2 employment with bi‑weekly pay schedule and direct deposit. Optional 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match. Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store mileage. Paid training provided. Accrue PTO hours for every week worked.
