Tax ManagerOur Tax Managers work closely with business owners, individuals, and firm leadership, providing both compliance and strategic tax guidance throughout the year.What You Can ExpectEmployee ownership through our ESOPA 53-hour busy season, with an emphasis on sustainable workloadsFlexible scheduling and work-from-home opportunitiesReduced summer Friday hoursA diverse client base of small and mid-sized businesses and their ownersOpportunities to develop long-term advisory relationships with clientsRegular interaction with firm leadershipIf you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.You will:Oversee tax engagements from planning through completionReview federal and state tax returns for individuals and closely held businessesWork with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and other pass-through entitiesIdentify tax-saving strategies and provide year-round planning guidanceAdvise business owners on entity structures, transactions, and other tax-related decisionsAddress multi-state and state and local tax (SALT) considerationsMaintain ongoing relationships with clients through regular advisory discussionsManage engagement timelines, budgets, workflow, and client expectationsIdentify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client serviceTrain, mentor, and provide feedback to tax staff and senior-level team membersPartner with firm leadership xhyhwjd on complex client needs and business opportunitiesRequired:5+ years of tax experience in public accountingActive CPA or EA credentialBachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or a related fieldStrong understanding of federal taxation and current tax regulationsExperience reviewing business and individual tax returnsDemonstrated experience managing client engagementsStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
