In this role, you will be a part of the data team that is responsible for maintaining several internally-developed data migration tools. You will work closely with developers that have experience with these tools to learn, and ultimately own, aspects of those tools. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that has a passion for learning and a history of working very closely with data.This is a full-time position, on-site at our TST Arlington office with core business hours between 9am and 3pm, Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements and solutions to complex data needsProvide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platformsWork directly with engineers in the field to debug and troubleshoot production issuesProvide occasional after-hours support for scheduled production deploymentsProvide Program and Product Managers with reliable time and effort estimates for technical deliverablesProvide technical and functional guidance and support to other team members as neededMinimum Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in software engineeringMinimum of 1 years of experience with PythonMinimum of 3 years of experience working with data in relational databasesExperience developing in a Unix environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash scriptingExperience working with agentic AI agentsExperience with event-driven processing, message brokers, or real-time data architecturesExperience using Git and Jira in a development workflowExperience with DevOps processesExperience creating data models in relational databasesExperience working in an agile environmentExperience with data migrationsDoD 8570 Level II or Level III Certification; for example, Comptia Security + or CISSPTop Secret security clearance or ability to obtainTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions. The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary.
