Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated NICU-trained Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide inpatient therapy for children from birth through adolescence. The role involves supporting complex medical needs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team at a children's hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Support children with medical complexities such as dysphagia, tracheostomy, or traumatic brain injury.
• Conduct feeding and swallowing assessments, including video-fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS).
• Collaborate with medical teams, including PTs, OTs, physicians, and nurses, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes accurately within EMR systems.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Possess or be eligible for Tennessee SLP License.
• Maintain ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Demonstrate pediatric feeding and swallowing therapy experience.
• Have previous experience working in a children's hospital setting.
