Business Operations Accountant

Coremix Capital, a division of the Pac1 Family Office, represents a dynamic and forward-thinking entity within our organization. At Pac1 Family Office, we are dedicated to empowering our team and enhancing the success of our operating companies. We are in search of a skilled and organized Accountant with business operations experience. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing month-end closing activities, including financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of payroll and tax information.

Salary range: $100,000-$125,000

Essential Job Functions

• Assist with month and year end closing and consolidation.
• Manage accounts, including account analyses, roll forwards and reconciliations.
• Manage controls and documentation requirements.
• Ability to read financial statements and make recommendations on business related investments.
• Collect data to determine cost of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Accounting experience/CPA license is a plus
• Business experience
• Tax experience helpful
• Experience with software is important

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong work paper techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent QuickBooks and Computer skills

Work Environment

This is an in-office 40-hour, 5-day-per-week position. There is no remote option for this position.

Work is done in our Vancouver office. Work is regularly performed in an office environment.
