Part-Time Laboratory Assistant

Eurofins seeks a part-time laboratory assistant in DeSoto, TX to support diagnostic testing operations. The role involves laboratory maintenance, sample preparation, and equipment handling while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory cleaning and sanitation tasks including dishwashing, surface wiping, and equipment maintenance
• Prepare and set up instruments, carboys, and stations for daily laboratory operations
• Handle sample product buckets and assist with material organization and restocking
• Identify and report process difficulties and safety concerns to supervisor
• Maintain compliance with quality management system requirements and regulatory standards

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Pursuing associate or bachelor degree in microbiology, food sciences, chemistry, biology, or related field preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Responsive problem solver with action-oriented approach
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
