The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, ongoing education and reinforcement of care plans, and providing general support in an ambulatory setting under the direction and supervision of the patient's physician or licensed medical practitioner or designee in accordance with policy and procedure and competency to promote patient health and wellness. This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.

Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program required. Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required. Ability to successfully complete general and department role based specific skills validation and competency testing.

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: Physical Demand Code: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.

The base compensation range for this role is $23.00 - $34.37 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
