Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Waterman Village Senior Living Community Waterman Village is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Outpatient Therapy team. This is a great opportunity to work within a well-established senior living community and make a meaningful difference in the independence, safety, and quality of life of older adults. Position Responsibilities Evaluate and treat outpatient therapy patients based on individualized needs and physician orders. Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on improving independence and quality of life. Provide treatment for conditions including upper-extremity limitations, hand rehabilitation, urinary incontinence, pain, weakness, decreased mobility, balance concerns, and functional decline. Provide education on adaptive equipment, home safety, energy conservation, fall prevention, and strategies to improve activities of daily living. Complete evaluations, progress notes, treatment documentation, and discharge summaries in accordance with Medicare, regulatory, and organizational requirements. Collaborate with PT, ST, nursing, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Participate in community wellness initiatives, educational programs, and opportunities to promote therapy services to Waterman Village residents. Maintain excellent communication and customer service with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing. Current CPR certification. Experience working with the geriatric population preferred. Outpatient or senior living experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative therapy team.
