CDL Side Dump Driver

Oil And Gas Trucking Driver

Operate a CDL side-dump truck in the oil and gas industry to safely haul and unload materials used for building well locations, lease roads, and drilling pads, as well as transport dirt, rock, gravel, debris, and other materials to designated disposal sites and job locations. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring truck condition, handling basic maintenance, complying with DOT and company safety standards, and working efficiently in demanding field, road, and weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks and equipment including side dump, dump truck, gooseneck, and flatbed trailers.
• Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license and medical card, in addition to a clean driving record
• MUST pass a drug screen.
• 3+ year's experience as a truck driver or similar role
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
