Job Title: Lead Adjuster-Inspections Department: Operations

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8AM – 5PM EST or 7AM – 4PM CST Reports to: Sr. Claims Manager

Job Description Summary

Location: Remote

As a Lead Adjuster-Inspections, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently handling inspection requests and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of inspection processes. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive repairs and diagnostics and a keen understanding of vehicle service contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to review and interpret inspection reports, communicate with adjusters and repair facilities, and ensure timely and accurate claim processing.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Validating Inspection Requests: Efficiently handle incoming inspection requests, ensuring all necessary information is provided.

Confirming Vehicle Readiness for Inspection: Verify that vehicles are prepared and meet the criteria for inspection.

Optimal Inspection Path: Determine most cost-effective inspection option (ie: photo inspection, virtual inspection, physical inspection)

Reviewing Inspection Reports: Analyze inspection reports to determine if findings necessitate denial or further action.

Communicating with Adjusters: Notify adjusters via PCRS when inspections confirm failure causes and damage extents, enabling the claim to move forward.

Utilize Automotive Knowledge: Effectively analyze and provide accurate and detailed direction.

Ensure Delivery Timelines: Meet delivery timelines for inspection requests and reviews while providing direction to adjusters.

Maintain Proactive Approach: Handle workload proactively, especially during peak volume situations.

Document Claims: Ensure all claims are appropriately documented.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; extensive experience in automotive services is required.

Proven experience working in an auto mechanical environment.

Prior leadership experience is a plus.

Expert knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.

Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence.

Understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required).

Strong organizational skills.
