Supply Chain Leader

Senior Leadership Role

This role will be a senior leadership position with a small but hyper-focused chemical manufacturer with 3 operating facilities, two here in the United States and one in Europe. This person will manage a team of 10 people and will oversee customer service, S&OP, inventory management, including ownership of work processes and strategy. This role will be a hybrid position (2 days out, 3 days in) and will report to the CEO who is also based at this office/laboratory facility.

Minimum requirements:

• B.S. degree required – ideally in supply chain, engineering, business, or chemistry. The exact type of degree is not as important as the background of experience; MBA preferred
• Overall 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years of supply chain management experience
• Must have a background in chemical/petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries
• Must have SAP experience, preferable HANA
• This company is looking for someone who can demonstrate the ability to think strategically; looking for someone who can anticipate issues that are coming and work to get in front of them as much as possible; must be a team player and able to work across functions and geographies. Must be very customer focused.
• Direct reports will include Customer service manager (with 3 CS representatives), S&OP and Inventory Manager, Logistics and Warehousing Manager. Dotted lines will go to Demand planning manager (reporting to COO) and European Customer Service representatives.
