Our organization is in search of a committed and enthusiastic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to become part of our Internal Medicine academic practice as an ambulatory associate program director (APD). This role includes 0.25 FTE dedicated to educational leadership duties. This is a fantastic chance to join a collaborative residency leadership team that merges patient care with ambulatory medical education and research.

• Join a foundational practice within the Internal Medicine residency training program, which supports 60 residents, including 32 engaged in continuity practice at our Internal Medicine Group (IMG).

• Co-lead the internal medicine ambulatory curriculum and serve on the clinical competency committee.
• Work in a patient-centered medical home alongside 10 faculty members and 3 advanced practitioners, dedicated to serving the greater Capital District of Albany, NY.
• Interact with medical students, as well as students from physician assistant and pharmacy programs.
• Benefit from the support of academic Hospitalist colleagues who manage inpatient admissions.

• Experience in learner development, teaching primary care, and applying evidence-based medicine.
• A strong dedication to the education of residents and students, with responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care.

• A competitive base salary ranging from $231,000 to $312,000, based on experience and academic rank, along with additional incentive bonuses.
