Director Of Operations

A well-known company that manufactures safety equipment for high-risk environments is looking to add a Director of Operations to their team. If you have strong manufacturing leadership experience and a track record of driving safety, quality, on-time delivery, and Lean improvements across multiple sites, this could be an exceptional opportunity for you!

This company has been in business for over 30 years manufacturing safety equipment mainly to job sites with the risk of injuries and accidents. They pride themselves on protecting workers, workplaces, and the environment.

This is a direct-hire, high-impact position where you'll oversee multi-site operations, work closely with executive leadership, and join an organization that is deeply invested in continuous improvement and employee development.

Director Of Operations Responsibilities:

• Lead operations across multiple sites, ensuring top performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Drive a LEAN culture through continuous improvement, waste elimination, standardization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Lead and mentor site leadership teams fostering strong communication, accountability, and engagement.
• Own P&L performance, budgeting, cost control, and operational strategy to support business objectives and growth.
• Partner with executive leadership to align operational execution with broader business strategy and long-term initiatives.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift (6:30am or 7am start time)

Site Leader Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including multi-site experience
• Proven experience implementing Lean manufacturing tools and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong technical knowledge of production equipment, maintenance processes, and automation/PLC-driven systems
• Proficiency with ERP systems and strong understanding of P&L, cost, quality, and production planning

Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000/yr. 20% bonus potential
