About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP of Construction Loan Administration to lead and oversee the teams responsible for administering residential and commercial construction lending programs. The successful candidate will ensure the effective coordination of underwriting, documentation, origination, draw processing, and project monitoring. This role involves managing credit and funding risk for the residential homebuilder portfolio, directing funding control processes for commercial projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risk and enhance the overall experience of construction projects. The AVP will also be involved in developing and implementing processes, procedures, and systems to increase operational efficiency and support the growth of the organization. Applicants for the AVP of Construction Loan Administration position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5-8 years' of similar or related experience. Key skills and experience required include a strong background in construction loan administration, knowledge of mechanic’s lien rights, Power BI, AIA model contracts and forms, permitting, draw schedules, and billing practices. The role also demands a solid understanding of applicable regulations, including those related to financial institutions and real estate. The ideal candidate will be adept at monitoring market trends and risks in the residential homebuilding industry and will be responsible for reporting on the performance, productivity, risk, and profitability of the residential homebuilder portfolio to senior management.
