Join Our Dynamic Team as an RN in Behavioral Health Job Description: - Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Unit: Behavioral Health IP Unit 2 - Shift: 11 PM - 7:30 AM - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/as needed - Call Requirements: None - Number of Openings: 1 Unit Profile: - Number of Beds: 104 across five units (adult, child, geri) - Patient Ratios: 1:8 variable (geri and pedi have lower ratios) - EHR System: Cerner - Supervisor: Shift Supervisor & Caitlin Dunn, CNO Key Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate care in an inpatient psychiatric setting, supporting a diverse patient population including adults and children. - Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to implement individualized care plans. - Maintain patient safety and ensure a therapeutic environment. Qualifications: - Required Certifications: BLS, HWC - Experience: 1 years in a behavioral health setting - Skills Needed: - Previous experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with both adult and pediatric populations Patient Population: - Adults with various mental health disorders including schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety. - Pediatric patients aged 5-17.
