Graphic Designer

We are searching for high-performing and enthusiastic individuals to join the sandlot+co. team. More specifically, we need an intelligent and experienced professional to join our team as a graphic designer. A Graphic Designer is a key member of the Sandlot team and must be a positive brand advocate for our clients. A crucial part of this role is the willingness to research and understand our clients and their business models as they span across diverse communities and industries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will most likely have a hand in almost every creative piece of work our company produces. From direct mail to social media graphics, website wireframes, and mockups to billboard designs, you will play some part in their creation. In addition, you will help create internal sales materials in support of the client services team. In addition to these skills, you need to be a people person as well. There are no jobs in small agency life where you can hide behind an iMac. Instead, you get to play an integral role in all areas. You'll be able to collaborate and lead creative brainstorming sessions, present creative ideas to our team and our clients, mentor other creatives, and talk with students about working at an agency.

In this role, you will figure out how to bring ideas to life. Using the tools of design and photography and working with the team, you will have the challenge of taking campaigns and projects from ideas to tangible work products. As a graphic designer, you will be expected to use all the tools at your disposal to push the creative boundaries for our clients and our firm as a whole. This position also includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

• Digital Design
• Social Media Graphics 
• Print Design
• Web Design
• Identifying assets required for projects
• Designing or securing assets
• Editing photos
• Other duties as assigned 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

At a minimum, we are looking for someone with 2-4 years experience of graphic design experience. You must have mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications. You need to be ready to take criticism and adjust the work accordingly. You should have at least some knowledge of Keynote/PowerPoint. LOCATION: 

WILL NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM THE SANDLOT + CO. OFFICE LOCATED IN THE RIVER MARKET AREA IN KANSAS CITY. WHILE WE DO HAVE A WORK FROM HOME POLICY, WE EXPECT OUR EMPLOYEES TO WORK THE MAJORITY OF THEIR TIME IN-OFFICE.
