In-Home Companion & Para-Support Role for 8 y/o Girl

Sittercity

Seeking an emotionally intelligent, grounded human to be equal parts learning sherpa and emotional support person to a homeschooled 8 y/o girl with a 2E profile. Work 1-on-1 with child creating daily routines, preparing snacks/meals, pursuing learning through child's special interests, participating in imaginative play, and taking child on outings. Ideal candidate will have experience as teacher or para-support pro. Experience working with ADHD/ASD profiles preferred, however, most important qualities are emotional consistency, positivity and attunement. Role will also involve limited light housekeeping (mainly some dishes, tidying). Flexible hours and start date.
