Procurement AssociateThe Procurement Associate supports the execution of day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing of goods and services. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing events, process procurement transactions, and maintain accurate documentation. This position will also assist with administrative tasks as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in executing the sourcing process for assigned areas.Support bid analysis, supplier selection, and contract award recommendations.Conduct simple negotiations and execute purchase orders.Create and process purchase orders and change orders within the procurement system.Partner with business units to understand project scope, specifications, and timelines.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations and resolve issues.Maintain procurement documentation, including quotes, purchase orders, and contracts.Track and organize proposals and support basic commercial evaluations.Maintain positive working relationships with vendors.Required QualificationsProficiency with Microsoft Word is required.Preferred QualificationsAn undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
