What You'll Do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered equipment and vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine effective repair solutions
• Inspect tools, equipment, and components to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications
• Assist with additional maintenance and repair tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous diesel mechanic experience is required
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in diesel repair
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Good attendance and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training or certification in Automotive or Diesel Technology

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hand and power tools
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a shop environment
