2 nd Shift Warehouse Maintenance Technician – Level 2 WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Warehouse Maintenance Technician- Level 2 to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process. The base hourly rate of pay starts at $28 per hour or more, depending on experience Additional compensation: $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential As a Warehouse Maintenance Technician – Level 2, you will Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed Communicate clearly and work as part of a team Perform other duties as assigned Qualified Candidates will Associates Degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology and/or the equivalent with demonstrated experience in the Industrial Maintenance field. Current Level 1 Maintenance Technician that has continued on with their education and has Certificate of Completions in the following courses with a grade C or better (curriculum derived from the Joliet Junior College) and/or equivalent job experience: EEAS 113: Industrial Controls 2 IMT 123: Maintenance Management TMT 102: Technical Mathematics EEAS 223 - Industrial Circuits-Advanced Programmable Controllers EEAS 225 - Automated Systems EEAS 240 - Motors and Drives Basic math, measuring, and computer skills required Team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic; must be dependable with excellent attendance Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English Demonstrate knowledge of performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems Ability to read machinery manuals, blueprints, and schematics Knowledge of OSHA regulations as they pertain to manufacturing and/or completion of OSHA 10 Hours training course High degree of attention and detail required to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues Must be authorized to work in the United States Why you’ll love working at WeatherTech Direct WeatherTech Direct is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and clean and safe workspace.
