Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network /cloud Architect to support a Federal Government program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale enterprise network infrastructures in federal environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network solutions.
  • Develop network architecture, standards, and technical documentation.
  • Support WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and network security initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to implement network solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with mission requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership during network modernization and transformation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering/architecture experience.
  • Proven experience supporting Federal Government environments.
  • Strong expertise in: Enterprise WAN/LAN architecture Cisco routing and switching BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs Network segmentation and high availability Firewalls and network security Experience developing network design documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCNP or CCIE certification.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and federal cybersecurity frameworks.
  • DoD Security Clearance (preferred).
