Home Nurse OpportunityWe are looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Team Home Matters Caregiving specializes in providing in-home care for the senior population so they may continue to enjoy the comfort and safety of their own home. Our clients need assistance with personal care, medication administration and companionship.Qualifications and EducationCurrent unencumbered New Jersey RN licenseAble to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writingBasic computer skills, including word processing and emailPrior experience in the Home Care field, either in Home Care or Home HealthPrior management experience, specifically coaching and motivating employeesExperience with delegation of nursing tasks to unlicensed personsExperience with geriatric populationExperience teaching and training caregivers or CAN'sFlexible scheduleValid driver's license and reliable transportationExperience with intakes and initial assessments of prospective clientsExperience and comfortable with presenting in a large group settingKnowledge of In Home care rules and regulationsAble to network with Hospice, Senior Housing Advisors, Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Hospitals, Home Health, Independent Living Facilities.Job DutiesOversight of medication administration program including Medication Administration Records (M.A.R.s), client medication orders and client medication profilesCommunicate with Physician's regarding client medication ordersCommunicate with client's and families regarding client medication requirementsDelegate nursing tasks to caregiversTeach appropriate nursing tasks to caregiversProvide ongoing training on medication administration and nursing tasksResponsible for nursing assessmentsBe available to provide supervision and direction to caregiversMaintain knowledge of current regulations governing nurse practice and delegation.Maintain knowledge of the current New Jersey Administrative Rules governing In Home Care
