Senior Accountant (Korean Bilingual)

[Position] Senior Accountant [About Our Client] It is a clinical-stage biotech pursuing discovery and development of novel small-molecule drugs for patients with unmet medical needs.

• Job Summary] Our company is looking for an experienced Accountant to handle various accounting and tax related tasks. The candidate will have the opportunity to earn additional responsibility and career development as the company grows.
• Job Description] Manage and oversee the daily operation of the accounting department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile general ledger to each account’s statement on a regular basis Assist with quarterly book closing and generate financial statements Support the audit process and preparation of financial reports quarterly basis Making journal or ledger entries if necessary Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies to ensure all compliance obligations are fulfilled Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as a liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and banks Manage company’s federal and state tax return schedules in compliance with laws and regulations Review tax returns prepared by external accountant to make sure all information on the return are accurate Research company’s tax issues to identify solutions Special projects and other tasks as assigned Requirements Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English(both written and verbal) is preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business related 3+ years of related work experience preferably in accounting, finance, or relevant field Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and QuickBooks a plus Strong problem solving, critical & creative thinking, interpersonal skills and ability to multitask Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills Benefits Annual Cash Bonus pay 401(k) & matching Health / Dental / Vision insurance AD&D, Life insurance Paid time-off & Paid Holidays Relocation Pkg.
