Network Security ProfessionalWe are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role requires a strong focus on network security, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage and improve security capabilities and services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and committed to ensuring the integrity of our network systems.Locations:1st Preference: Pittsburgh, PA, 152222nd Preference: Cleveland, OH / Dallas, TX / Birmingham, AL / Phoenix, AZ / Philadelphia, PA / Cincinnati, OH / Miamisburgh, OH / Columbus, OH / Kansas City, KS / Jacksonville, FL / Chicago, IL / Little Rock, AR / Rocky Mount, NCSalary Range:Contract to Hire, 12 MonthsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Detection development, 4-6 Years of Experience RequiredNetwork detection and response (NDR), 4-6 Years of Experience RequiredNetwork monitoring, 4-6 Years of Experience RequiredPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Ability to read a room, identify and leverage institutional knowledge, and work with stakeholders with opposing viewsAbility to see around the corner, hope for the best and plan for the worst, and exercise a healthy balance between security and accessibilityAbility to define problems clearly and concisely, develop action plans with options, including pros and cons to those options, and offer recommendations to address the problem directlyDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Identify and correct a variety of data management issuesCoordinate with infrastructure, engineering, and application project/support teams to ensure new policies/assets are deployed efficientlyServe as a technical expert and demonstrate hands-on experience with endpoint detection and response, network detection and response toolsEnable and continuously mature security capabilities and services to effectively manage riskParticipate in on-call rotation, respond to security incidents promptly, and lead troubleshooting and restoration activitiesCompany Benefits & Culture:Inclusive and diverse workplace environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation
