Step into a hands-on role where your inspections keep critical components safe and compliant. As our Materials Integrity NDT Technician, you’ll spend your shift ensuring parts meet exacting standards—without ever leaving a mark. Your work blends precision testing, thoughtful analysis, and care for the equipment that makes it all possible.

You arrive ready to dive into a mix of in-lab and in-field evaluations. Early on, you stage samples, capture clear photos for traceability, and set up magnetic particle and liquid penetrant methods. Throughout the evening, you execute NDT procedures, document raw data, and interpret results. When needed, you support controlled destructive tests on metals under the direction of the Materials Testing Laboratory Manager. You’ll keep instruments humming with first-line preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting, all while helping the team uphold ISO 9001 quality practices.

• Conduct NDT using MT and PT techniques across lab and field environments.
• Perform destructive testing of various metals under the Materials Testing Laboratory Manager’s guidance.
• Operate and maintain specialized testing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality conformance and document findings.
• Enter and analyze raw data; generate forms and basic reports.
• Photograph incoming samples to support identification and records.
• Carry out first-level preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on analytical tools.
• Support ISO 9001 quality system activities and continuous improvement.
• Self-study and prepare for relevant certification exams.
• Take on additional related tasks as needed.

• Associate’s degree in an engineering/technical field (preferred).
• Experience in materials testing or nondestructive testing (preferred).
• Quality control/quality assurance exposure (preferred).
• Hands-on engineering technician background (preferred).

• Comfort working in an engineering-driven setting.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and form creation.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in quality or engineering is a strong plus!

• 2nd Shift: 4:15 pm – 2:15 am
