Salesforce CPQ DeveloperDuration: 3 Month contract to hire Location Type: Hybrid 3 days in office Compensation Range: up to $71hr DOE Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are made available after 90 days. There are no additional benefits provided during the contract period (no PTO, no Paid Holidays, etc.). Development around Salesforce Lightning CPQ strong skill set needed- system change in process- strong in Salesforce to help with transition. Agile team- Need to be in office 3x a week- Atlanta GA- Backfill for an FTE- Soft Skills: Communication is key- eager to learn, positive attitude.Responsibilities: The Sr Software Engineer will lead technical requirements sessions, architect & document technical solutions, and develop on the platform. They will design & develop interfaces between Salesforce.com and other systems. They must also be able to manage client expectations and scope. This position acts as a liaison between the client and internal development staff and is responsible for leading the development staff during all phases of the project's lifecycle.Your Role:Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the platformProvide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated with implementing the project from business requirements gathering through deploymentLead technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the client's business objectivesLead the technical delivery of Salesforce.com implementations including: development of custom solutions and integrations; managing technical scope and client expectations; providing hands-on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues; and designing and managing the execution of test plans and ensuring a quality solution is deliveredDemonstrate technical thought leadershipBe familiar with Advanced Apex programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, asynchronous operations and effective unit testingBe comfortable with modern SDLC best practices including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software frequently with attention to technical excellenceAdhere to coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure high code quality and design patterns are being usedConfigure and maintain Salesforce CPQ product catalog, pricing rules, product rules, bundle logic, and quote templates to support complex quoting workflowsSupport the upcoming migration from Salesforce CPQ to Logik.ai, ServiceNow's AI-powered CPQ platform, including requirements analysis, configuration mapping, and testingPartner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to translate quoting business requirements into scalable CPQ solutionsCoach and mentor junior technical consultantsInterview potential candidates as neededQualifications: Skills & Experience (minimum):5+ years of IT working experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and educationExcellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills and ability adapt to varied audiencesAbility to capture requirements, design workflow, and deliver solutionsUnderstanding of business processes, workflows, analysis, and critical problem solving.What We Look For (preferred):Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributorMinimum 5 years of Salesforce/Force.com platform experienceProven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systemsExtensive VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experienceWeb Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData, etc.)Experience developing custom applications on the Salesforce.com platformExperience with Salesforce Admin functionalitiesjQuery (or other leading JavaScript libraries) development experience preferredKnowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools, ETL with SalesforceGood knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design and SDLCExcellent client-facing written, presentation and verbal communication skillsSalesforce CPQ experience including product catalog configuration, pricing, approval workflows, and quote template designServiceNow development or administration experience is a strong plus given our upcoming migration to Logik.ai, ServiceNow
