Adjunct Instructor - Humanities

Position Overview Oregon Tech’s College of Health, Arts & Sciences (HAS) within the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is recruiting a pool of part‑time adjunct instructors for humanities courses (ethics, humanities, literature, philosophy). The position is a faculty appointment as an Adjunct Instructor – Humanities. Responsibilities Teach assigned undergraduate courses in humanities. Develop syllabi, instructional materials and assessments in accordance with department standards. Provide timely feedback and grading to students. Participate in faculty meetings and departmental events as required. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in a humanities discipline or equivalent. Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard). Experience with virtual meeting and collaboration tools (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams). Application Instructions Apply online.
